The UKC interview with Italian strongman Michele Caminati

In April earlier this year, shortly after the snow flurries hit the UK, I interviewed Italian strongman Michele Caminati. He was due to fly home that week and I was keen to find out how he got on during his latest trip to the British Peak District.

His ticklist is an impressive combination of technical and difficult highballing of trad routes (or 'snowballs' as they became known for the few weeks when landings temporarily became cold and soft) and nails hard boulder problems. His main goal for the trip - Voyager SDS (8B+). After climbing the stand (8B) on a previous trip, he was keen to get the second ascent of the harder, lower variation. How did he get on? You'll have the read the interview on to find out.
